Employee Relocation Council (ERC)
Founded in 1964, Worldwide ERC® (Employee Relocation Council) was formed to help its members overcome the challenges of workforce mobility. The members come from many professions – human resources; recruiting; government; military; real estate; financial services; moving; counseling; consulting; and other areas. Worldwide ERC® provides current issues, trends, and best practices for the movement of employees within the United States as well as global mobility.
ERC is all about learning the relocation industry and networking with corporations and service providers. Check out the website below or discuss best practices for “getting started” with your manager.

Regional ERC Information
While not directly affiliated with ERC, several regional relocation groups (largely comprised of ERC members) have been formed throughout the country. These groups allow relocation professionals to focus on local issues, to create learning opportunities for staff persons who may not be able to attend national ERC meetings, and to foster a stronger local network of expertise from which to draw. The Employee Relocation Council offers assistance such as assisting with speaker identification for regional group meetings and providing membership literature for those interested in joining ERC.
